Nutritional Foods

Nutrition plays a vital role in the intellectual and physical development of children. A balanced diet is key to healthy habits because it provides children with the nutrients they need to grow. Such a diet should contain three meals and two healthy snacks with foods of the following groups: protein, carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, dairy foods , some fat and sugar.

We Provide

  • Maize Meal or Jungle Oats for breakfast
  • Home cooked, nutritional meals prepared daily
  • All meals are strictly Halaal

Parents Must Provide The Following Items Daily

  • Juice
  • Water
  • Healthy sandwich and biscuits/cheddar biscuits for morning snack
  • Yoghurt and fruit for afternoon snack

Water Wednesday

  • All students to bring water bottles to school only, no juices are allowed
What Is Not Allowed - Monday to Thursday
  • Luxuries
  • Gas cooldrinks
  • Parents are allowed to pack in luxuries on Fridays
  • Bakers day is every second Friday, check your child's message book to see if he/she has been selected to be the baker for the week
